DBpixelhouse worked with leading fashion brand Karen Millen and Retail Assist, an IT solutions provider for the retail industry, at Nexpo—an event exploring the next generation of retailing at a pop-up store in Shoreditch, London.
As part of an interactive retail environment, shoppers could experience digital content related to the products they were interested in. When they selected a garment and hung it up, the RFID enabled coat hanger and hook triggered content to play on the adjacent screen. Users could scroll through different menus using the touchscreen, exploring details about the products and watching videos of models wearing it.
The Nexpo store of the future was a tremendous success and attended by key personnel from well-known high-street retailers who were looking for inspiration on how to integrate technology and content in their stores.
