Role Account Executive
DBpixelhouse is looking to hire an Account Executive who will work within our team to build relationships and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact with a potential customer through to securing a deal.
A knowledge of the audio-visual market is desirable, however if no prior experience is held a deep personal interest in technology is required, combined with the willingness to continually update knowledge and skills. The role involves assisting with online enquiries on both the AV&IT and Network sides of the business, quoting for work and supporting the Exhibitions Manager in specific tasks to achieve our budget targets.
Excellent communication skills are essential to success in this role, you will be working with the wider DB team including sales colleagues, operations, logistics and contractors on & off-site as well as the all-important Customer relationships that this role is all about.
One important aspect of the role will be making telephone contact with all potential clients from exhibitor lists, you will need to enjoy and excel in initiating these telephone contacts, quickly building rapport, and establishing a summary of client needs which can then be followed up with individual quotes.
The main office HQ is in Tewkesbury, and whilst some home working flexibility is possible, we feel that our sales team thrives on the buzz of teamworking in the office. The main hours of the role are Monday to Friday 9 –5.30, although some weekend working will be necessary during our busy show periods.
Ideally you will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience as an Account Executive, or similar role, in a sales environment.
